Hello... good evening ...and welcome.

My name is Kevin Anthony Ashton and I'm a chef and food writer.

I'm still trying to figure out what to do with my Vox space....but I do hope to get to meet as many of you as possible.  Especially if your a person that is into food.

Now you don't have to be avid cook to enjoy cooking, food is a big social component that has many functions in our lives. It might a to celebrate the begining of life or give comfort at the end of life. It might heighten the romance, or soften the blow. It might send a message of sharing the meger resources..... or be a chance for generousity from those with plenty to share.        

We all feel opinionated about it, often declaring ourselves experts purely based on the fact that we eat it, and we all have our favourites and our marmite moments.
